Meet the Manager

Michael Burchett General Manager I have had the pleasure of being the General Manager of Gold River Racquet Club since January of 2005.  Before becoming the general manager, I was actually a club member for two years.  I have 25 years of experience in business operations particularly health care management.  I served in the Army Medical Service Corp for 9 years leaving at the rank of Major.  I have a Masters of the Arts degree in Health Administration from Webster University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from Santa Clara University.  Growing up I was an avid rower competing during and after college both nationally and internationally.  I currently enjoy tennis and spending time with my wife Catherine (also a tennis player), and my children Ted (the real tennis player in the family) and Nicholas (the swimmer).  My family and I live in Gold River and enjoy all that it has to offer including this wonderful club.
